Self catering bed and breakfast

pathway to cottageWelcome to the home of Philip and Justine Reynolds, who hope you will spend a few days enjoying the experience of this special place/area, where our family spends most of its summers. (The cottage is therefore only available to book from Oct 1st to Dec 30th and Feb 5th - April 30th)

The property forms part of a unique/secure 450 acre private estate, which has an abundance of birds and wildlife on and around its own selection of nationally important lakes (with private hides) and triple SSI nature reserve.

This modern cottage is compact but can sleep a family of four with comfort in one double room and two singles, and has within a stones throw the shared all-weather tennis court, outdoor heated swimming pool and sauna (open March - Oct and Xmas), children's play area and within 10 mins drive, two public golf courses, horse riding stables, public beach, waterskiing, sailing, and many other attractions - see this link.

signpostIf you booked you will be ideally situated for easy access to the historic town of Cirencester and its Corinium Museum and unique shops (10 mins) or the commercial centres of Cheltenham (25 mins) and Swindon (20 mins) and for people looking to discover the Cotswold Water Park (now bigger than the Norfolk Broads) there is a network of cycleways/bridleways and of course the Thames Path directly accessed from the cottage.

For visitors who like food and drink we hope our welcome hamper will tick all the boxes (enough breakfast will be provided for each day of your stay) and for those you like local pubs you will be pleased to hear our free house, The Bakers Arms is only 10 mins walk away. For those who wish to go further a field, we are lucky to have an array of outstanding pubs and restaurants in the area and please take a look at this site for some examples, although your welcome pack will have further details.

We do hope you enjoy your stay

Best regards
